Indian Cultural Association of Estonia

We invite you to attend launching function and become a member of The Indian Cultural Association of Estonia at Vanalinna Studio,Tallinn at 19.00 on 29th June 2004.

Indian Cultural Association (Estonia) is a registered non-profit cultural organization, established in late 2003. ICAE has its registered office at Hüübi 20, Tallinn.

Indian Cultural Association (Estonia)'s missions are:
1) To encourage those who are interested in cultural and social heritage of India.
2)To promote and further ties between the Indian and Estonian cultures and economy at all levels, including art (e.g. music, dance, etc.), literature, science, technology, business, industry, historical heritage, exchange visits of residents, including students, legal advice and aid in other associated fields. Activities include cultural performances, outdoor sports, camping, and fund raising for cultural, educational and charitable purposes.

In partnership with society, ICAE aims to make Estonia even better place to live in.

ICAE aspires to the beautiful words of Mahatma Gandhi: "I do not want my house to be walled in on all sides and my windows to be closed, instead I want the cultures of all lands to be blown about my house as freely as possible."

Main objectives :
? To raise awareness of ancient Indian cultural heritage and actively assist in its promotion.
? To build relationship with Estonian cultural heritage and foster a harmonious and positive cooperation in all other fields.
? To provide a climate for conducting charitable functions and religious activities.
? To promote and foster amongst people of Estonia and India a spirit of goodwill, understanding and devotion to finer aspects of life.
? To perpetuate the cultural aspects such as fine arts, music, dance, etc.
? To give Estonian Indians pride, self-esteem, a loving environment in Estonia with a sense of achievement, and to nurture their beliefs with positive experiences and role models.
? To provide Indian involvement in raising Estonia's life values through prosperity, born from passion and pride for the country.
